Basic Key


Description


1.


Esc (Escap) Key


Equivalent to clicking the Cancel button.

F1 - F12 (Function) Keys


F1 through F12 are the function keys.

F1 -  Help

F2 -  Renames selected file

F3 - Opens the file search box

F4 - Opens  the  address  bar  in        

       Windows  Explorer.

F5 -  Refresh the screen.

F6 - Navigates  between different Sections.

F7 -  It can be used to spell check

F8 - When windows startup it can load the     

        startup menu.

F9 - In Windows media player it increase

           volume.

F10 -  In Windows media player it decrease

           volume.

F11 -  In Internet Explorer show full-screen.     

F12 - In MS-Word it will display Save-As   

          dialog.

It used to insert numbers from 0 - 9.

Alphanumeric Keys (A - Z)


It used to insert alphabet from A - Z.

It enables entry of special characters.
